The 3 series is at BMW getting a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! I think they’re also going to reset the “vehicle check” for me; that had been bothering me, but not enough to spend money on simply making a “warning” go away. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , albeit a 2017.

They give you a loaner for recalls? I’m kind of surprised. Years ago the one time I took my E30 to the dealer they wouldn’t give me shit even though it was there for a couple of days.

I booked a week in advance and was like can I have a loaner and they were like absolutely. BMW of Corpus Christi even gave me a loaner when I got my car tinted. I’ve actually had decent luck. Really the only time I’ve not been able to get a loaner was when my throttle position actuators went out and that was cause I just rolled up to the dealer and they were out.

My BMW dealer even gives me loaners for windshield replacements.

Did you get a letter to come in for the fix or did you just call? I noticed both our VINs state “remedy not available”. I’ve heard they started fixes but I’ve been waiting on a letter. (I got the original recall letter last fall)

I had no idea some parts were available. I took my M3 in for service last week and they said they could knock out the recalls as well, so I asked about the 3 and they said they could take care of them too. The service guy said that they hadn’t published the fact a fix was out, but if you ask of bring the car in for service they’ll take care of them.
